The Zoeva En Taupe palette and brushes recently launched in the UK at the end of October, of which I purchased the palette. This is my first Zoeva palette, and by first impressions my expectations were truly exceeded – I absolutely love love love this palette. The formula of the eye shadows is incredible; they are all creamy and blendable. With 4 matte shades and 6 shimmers, there are plenty on gorgeous combinations for multiple looks.
I believe that all 10 shades are quite highly pigmented, more the shimmers than the matte shades. However, the matte shades have enough pigment so that they can be buildable for more intensity. There is a great variation of warm and cool tones, which I think compliment every skin tone.
For £15.50 you really cannot go wrong. I believe if you are a person who is getting into make up and looking for a great palette, then this is the one. All shadows are so easy to work with as each shadow is very finely milled.
I got mine for Beauty Bay, linked here. Or you can also pick them up on the Zoeva site.
Below are swatches and a break down list of each shade:
Stitch by Stitch – A gorgeous creamy matte white, best for a base all over lid colour or to highlight brow bone.
Handmade – This is one of my favourite ventolin inhaler price usa colours in the palette. It’s an incredibly pigmented champagne white/gold satin shimmer, which really makes your lid pop. Also amazing for an inner corner highlight.
Gallery– A muted brown matte shade that I love to use in the crease on top of the next colour.
Hour By Hour – As said above, I love to use this shade in the crease to give my eye some more dimension. It’s the perfect matte peach, which is gorgeous for a subtle look.
Old Master– Although a shimmer, this can seem quite a matte dark brown. Great for a dramatic crease colour.
Spun Pearl– Again, this shadow has incredible pigment and is very creamy. This pearlescent silver works best with cool tone shadows to make a silver/grey smoky eye.
Sheers & Voiles – A subtle taupe/champagne shimmer that is great paired with Outline.
Outline– A gold toned brown shimmer. I love to use in the outer corner of my eye, with Handmade on the rest of the lid.
Wrapped In Silk – Out of the pan, this is a muted brown shimmer with silver hints throughout, absolutely beautiful!
Exquisite– My most favourite of the mattes, this colour is gorgeous for autumn. A medium cranberry brown that looks great as a crease colour and with all shadows.
This palette is a must have this autumn; I’m so pleased with it!
