Now that we’re nearing Christmas I’m finding a lot more deals in store and online, which has meant I’ve been spending, spending, spending! At the beginning of the month I just couldn’t help myself. Many new things were being released, but somehow I’ve still stuck to pretty much the same items all month long – which means they must be winners! This month I’ve been loving others things than just make up, as I’ll be showing you some hair care, skincare and an item for my beauty table. I’m posting this list for 12 Days of Blogmas as I find all these items perfect for Christmas gift ideas – for your friends, mum or any beauty fanatic. Enjoy!
Now, this product has been on my table for sometime now but this past month I’ve been reaching for it a lot more. With the cold weather hitting us, my lips dry out and chap a lot quicker, so this scrub is perfect to remove any dead skin and revitalise your lips. With exfoliating caster sugar and softening jojoba oil, this will infuse moisture into your lips no matter how dry they are. You can pick this up for £5.50, also a great stocking filler!
At the beginning of each month I like to treat myself to something I’ve wanted for a long time, and this was it. I’ve seen so many beauty blogs and Youtubers talk about this. It’s the most beautiful nude shade that I find suits many of my lipsticks. It also looks gorgeous on its own with a lip-gloss on top. I typically pair is with Rimmel’s The Only 1 Lipstick in Naughty Nude or MAC Kinda Sexy.
I received this with my Elle magazine, and was thrilled to know that it was a pre-release tester before its official release. I’ve never been one to use a lash primer everyday, but I have honestly not gone a day without this this month! It’s a mink brown tint that works amazingly to separate and length lashes before mascara application. You can also wear it on its own for a natural daytime look. Benefit’s They’re Real Tinted Primer is £18.50 and will be released on 26th December 2015.
From all products this month, I would say this has to be my absolute favourite. The colour is an earthy priligy us muted red, more on the pink side. Velvetines go on liquid but dry super matte. They are touch-proof, smudge-proof, transfer-proof and so amazing!
I received this lovely fragrance last Christmas as its still going strong. Although I have used it a hell of a lot, I do use it mainly for more special occasions than day to day. It’s a musky floral scent that is perfect for the winter months. The packaging is stunning to! This is another lovely gift for someone special.
This much-adored porcelain mug returned for the festive season to Anthropologie UK, with a limited edition golden gleam. These come in any custom letter you wish, and it makes a perfect present for almost anyone. For £8 I assumed it could be used as room décor rather than for my coffee. I use it to store my most loved make up brushes.
Ever since visiting Sephora’s across Eastern-Europe I make it my duty to purchase a few of these masks to take home with me. These are the ultimate relaxation necessity. My two favourite are the Pomegranate and Rose scent. They work wonders to give your skin a moisture boost, and for 6 Euro I think they’re a bargain.
The past few weeks my hair has become quite dry and was in need of some moisture and shine, this oil by OGX has sorted the problem. The Moroccan Argan oil works to infuse hair with shine and highlighted glow. As my hair is naturally curly, this has also worked really well to control any fly-a-way frizz. Brilliant product!
Hope you enjoyed, and also get some Christmas gift inspiration from my November favourites.
