There’s nothing I love more right now than a fresh Spring lipstick. It can be nude or bright for me, but I find Spring shades so much more fun and easy to work with. There are 5 shades that really stand out to me and are ones I reach for the most. If you are one to reach for nudes over most other shades, then these will most definitely be for you.
My first choice is Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick in Stoned Rose. I would honestly wear this everyday if I knew the bullet wouldn’t get smaller! Stoned Rose is a warm, modest pink-brown shade with a slight orange undertone, very flattering on many skin tones. As it has a sheer but very pigmented finish, it keeps your makeup looking fresh. It’s cashmere soft and perfect for Spring.
Next are two MAC lipsticks, both matte finishes, but very light and fresh on the lips. My top pick from the two is the shade Yash, a perfect mid-brown nude that many agree is flattering on most ordering accutane online skin tones. The formula isn’t drying at all, like some matte MAC lipsticks can be. Second is Kinda Sexy, a more girly and pink toned nude. This is my favourite to pair with a gold eye look!
For a drugstore pick, I wear many, but the one I find most Spring appropriate and fresh is Topshop’s Peach Sundae Lipstick. I wore this a lot last year, and it made a quick comeback. The shade is a light peach and very easy to wear. It’s a very good dupe for MAC’s Shy Girl.
The brightest shade I have been reaching for is Wonderland from the Gwen Stefani x Urban Decaycollection. It’s a dark-pink/red, that is super creamy but long lasting. The texture is almost balmy, which I love for the Spring as it feels light on the lips.
