When it comes to skincare there is always that one product that you just cannot live without. For me that product is the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Fix Hyaluronic Shot, my holy grail for super hydrated and dewy skin. I can be quite lazy at times with skincare. Some mornings I just splash my face with water and apply this, sometimes I go all out. It’s more likely that I go all out in the evenings as that’s when I have time to have a bit of a pamper. However, even if I am feeling lazy I just have to use this.

You might be wondering what Dragon’s Blood actually is, as it does sound a bit weird to be putting on your face. It’s a “sap found in the Croton Lechleri tree in the Amazon” and works to protect and heal the skin from environmental damage. The product also contains 50% Hyaluronic Acid that works to plump and firm the skin. The mixture of the two is heaven in a bottle. The formula of this is like a very light serum and it sinks into the skin within just a few seconds.

I find this deeply moisturising and works to hydrate even the thirstiest of skin, to reveal a plumper and healthier order accutane isotretinoin complexion. If my skin feels dry this solves it, if my skin feels dehydrated this solves it, it literally is something I can’t go a day without.

What I love about this is that you can also mix this in with other products for an extra boost of hydration and plumping. If I decide to mix it, I mix it in with a moisturiser in the mornings and with and oil or serum in the evenings. As the formula is super lightweight it doesn’t make any product feel heavier but does quench the skin in just the right way. I also like that it comes with a pipet applicator, which you apply straight onto the face or warm up in your hands. Generally, I use just one pump and it covers the whole face and neck!

I’ve tried other bits from the range such as the Serum and Pads, which are also incredible to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. I find this range would work for so many skin types, even oily as its doesn’t add excess oil, just adds nourishing goodness.

This range and other Nip + Fab products are available online and in-store at Superdrug and Boots.

What’s your Holy Grail skincare product?
