My Top 5 Highlighters

This year the strobing trend arrived, which is the easiest way to make your face oomph with a natural glow and not suffocate under layers of product!
The trick is to use highlight on the high points of your face where the sun would naturally hit (so, your cheekbones, brow bone, the centre of your forehead, cupids bow, down your nose and on your chin).

So, I rounded up my favourite 5 highlighters to share with you to revive dull winter skin and give a glowing complexion!

1.     MAC Cream Colour Base in ‘Hush’ – £16.00

My first ever highlighter I purchased that was recommended to me. It is a very versatile product that can be applied directly to bare skin, with a moisturiser or over foundation and powders. It gives a subtle but gorgeous peachy glow.
2.     Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘So Hollywood’ Illuminator – £28.00
This is my newest highlighter that I’m over the moon with! It’s a bit pricey but I just had to get it when I saw it on Cult Beauty. Its gorgeous gold priligy buy shimmer is pigment packed and you get what you pay for. Absolutely beautiful!!
3.    Benefit High Beam – £19.50

It can be quite intimidating to apply a liquid illuminator over already finished make up. So to use this I apply it on top of foundation to make sure the creamy bases can mix. Dot and blend on to cheekbones and brow bone for the strobe effect.

4. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in ‘Soft and Gentle’ – £24.00
By far, my all time favourite as it’s always in my makeup bag. The product is buildable either to add an intense highlight, or can be used for a subtle daytime glow. It’s velvety smooth and easy to apply. This one is definitely a winner in my eyes.

5. theBalm Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer – £17.50

An illuminator constantly lusted over, so I had to try it out. Its honey hued shimmer diffuses light to make your skin appear soft and give it a natural subtle glow. Definitely a product that suits many skin tones.
