September has come and gone so quickly, and as I’ve loved so many products I thought I’d share my favourites with you. I hope you enjoy and keep reading to find out what they were…

1.     MAC Prep + Prime Skin

As soon as I tried this in the shop I had to get it. It made my skin feel silky smooth. The application of foundation or powder over the primer really is amazing. I use it everyday and my make up lasts pretty much all the way through. I’ve noticed that the product really reduces oil levels and evens out my skin tone!

2.     LA Girl Pro Concealer in Beautiful Bronze

I bought this concealer a while ago when I saw it being crazed about as a great drugstore product to contour with. After being sceptical at first about trying it out (as I’ve never used a liquid contour before) I must say it’s incredible! The colour I chose, Beautiful Bronze, is a great shade for many skin tones, and is a product that looks very natural with the right application. It’s a bargain for only £6.00.

3.     Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Pencil in Liar

I’ve had this product for a few months now, but for the past few weeks it’s the pencil I’ve been reaching for the most. The colour is a mauve-nude, with a warm tone matte finish. I typically pair it with MAC Velvet Teddy or Viva Glam II – my current favourite lip combos. The super creamy formula allows a glide on application, leaving your lips feeling soft even with a matte lipstick on top.

4.     Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Hallelujah for Too Faced palettes!! I wanted an everyday palette that was travel friendly, and I found this as the perfect match. From the matte shades and shimmers it’s an easy task to create a look that you like. Personally, for everyday I use: Heaven all over the lid to reduce oils and prime, Nudie and Cashmere Bunny in the crease, Push Up as the lid colour and Silk Teddy to highlight the inner corners. I find these colours are the most neutral for day to day. The palette is also great for creating a brown sultry smoky eye with the deeper brown shades.

5.     Vaseline Cocoa Butter

This stuff is absolute heaven in a bottle. I’ve been lacking a good body lotion for ages and desperately needed one after going on holiday, priligy dapoxetine both to prolong my tan and rehydrate my skin. And this stuff works a treat! The formula is very fast drying and easy to spread, so a little goes a long way – I love it.

6.     Missguided Faux Suede Biker Jacket Tan

If only this colour would go with everything then I would wear it all the time! However, it is suitable for daytime and evening wear, depending what you style it with. The jacket is lightweight and super comfortable. It’s my all time favourite jacket for the autumn!

7.     Book – Gillian Flynn’s ‘Sharp Objects’

I’m quite a sucker for Crime Thriller books, and after reading Gone Girl and seeing the movie I wanted to read more of the authors work. Her book ‘Sharp Objects’ is just as addictive as Gone Girl, in that they both unravel twisted family history and unique storylines that are perfect for crime thriller fans, and such good reads. Two girls are abducted and killed in Missouri; journalist Camille Parker revisits her childhood town to cover the story. After digging deeper into the investigation, she finds she has to unravel her own disturbingly psycho past to find out what really happened.

8.     Netflix TV series – Bloodline

Who doesn’t love watching a good Netflix series excessively? My new favourite series from Netflix is Bloodline, an American 2015 thriller-drama that I am hooked to. Although it starts slow, I am so glad I continued to watch it. The series is a Netflix original thriller-drama with 1 season of 13 episodes – the only downside because I want to see more! So far the narrative has focused on the lives of the Rayburn family from Florida Keys. After their oldest son Danny returns home, the whole family starts breaking to pieces due to their dark past (which is now starting to be explained). I’ve recommended it to a few people, and now I really need to know why the family have a ‘dark past’.

Thanks for reading,

Megan ?
