With this foundation giving a light to medium coverage, it’s a must for everyday make up. I’m usually one to use a medium coverage foundation, but this product blurs out any imperfections and gives skin a gorgeous radiant complexion. The formula is very similar to Diorskin Star, creamy and lightweight that gives a natural looking finish. I use the colour Vanille 52, almost the perfect match, but after applying bronzer it looks the same as any other I use. For reference, I am shade 020 in Diorskin Star. Overall an incredible foundation for this price, a must have for my make up bag!
This is a product I’ve been using for many years now and I absolutely swear by it! I use the shade Transparent, as it’s a powder I use to set my concealer. The powder lasts a very long time, I only ever reapply if I’m out all day long and get a little oily. It’s a great product for only £3.99, and works the same as any other transparent pressed powder I’ve used, if not better. I would highly recommend this if you like to mattify areas where you get oily like I do, or even to mattify your entire face.
I absolutely adore this mascara. This is a product very hyped about on many beauty blogs and YouTube channels, and it’s clear why. It’s amazing for both volume and length. It coats lashes so quickly and intensely, so there is no need to spend masses of time trying to make them look perfect, it does it for you. Previously to this mascara I was using Benefit’s Roller Lash, and I must say the Maybelline mascara is a complete dupe, but so much better! For £7.99 it really is worth purchasing, it beats many mascaras I’ve ever used.
Most of us have that issue of trying to make our eyeliner twins, but it is near impossible. However, this product really helps you map out a perfect wing shape due to its pointy tip and thicker end. The formula stays all day and is extremely black, so there is no need to keep reapplying. It’s made my makeup routine a whole lot easier and less stressful when it comes to doing my eyes.
I’m so glad I ever tried this product. Nothing can fault this product. It gives amazing coverage; it doesn’t crease and is also great for highlighting. I use the shade Light, as I use it to highlight under my eyes, around my mouth and my forehead. Don’t be put off by the ‘Age Rewind’ statement on the package because it works wonders. I cannot praise this concealer enough – it is definitely my all time favourite drugstore concealer.
I feel that these eye shadows are great for those days when you want an easy eye look. I tend to use them most when I’m feeling super lazy and want something that looks like I’ve put some effort in. I have the shades Copper and Bronze which I prefer as I love brown/beige shadow looks for everyday. There are many more shades to choose from however. These shadows are so easy to apply, I simply dab a small amount on my lid and blend out with a Zoeva Eye Blender Brush.
This lip liner is my go to for a quick and easy nude lip. It’s the perfect shade to match many nude lipsticks; I usually pair it with MAC Velvet Teddy or Yash as they’re perfect combos. The liner itself is fairly long lasting and very creamy. I’ve had it for almost a year and it still hasn’t run out, so it’s definitely worth the £6.75! A highly recommendable product if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to high-end liners.
8. theBalm Mary Lou Manizer
This highlight is just incredible! I’ve mentioned it in my Top 5 Highlighters post previously, but I had to add it in here to praise again. The colour is the perfect champagne shimmer, and gives absolute gorgeous pigmentation. It could be seen as a little pricey for drugstore, however it is stocked in Superdrug and online at Feel Unique for £17.50 – but it really is worth every penny.
Ultimately, all of these products could create a full make up look, so to finish off I’m adding products that are found online, from Elf Cosmetics UK and NYX – the perfect drugstore contour and lip product.
9. E.L.F. Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder
This contouring duo is a staple for those who are new to contouring, or wants a travel friendly bronze and blush in one. E.L.F. cosmetics are an online drugstore brand, and after testing out a few other products I thought this would be a great one to review. Both products are very natural looking on the skin, with the pigment being the perfect intensity. I use the palette in shade Fiji. The packaging replicates Nars, with its slim and sleek black compact. Overall, its great value for money and lasts a very long time!
10. NYX Matte Lipstick in Natural
I’ve had this lip product for quite a long time, and have recently started using it the past couple of weeks and I’ve fallen back in love with it. The shade Natural is the perfect nude pink, which is very suitable for day time and suits perfectly with the No7 Precision Lips Pencil. For only £6.50 there is nothing to lose, and is very to find online. I purchased mine at Feel Unique.
