Ready for a glitter overload? I bet many of you beauty lovers said yes. Urban Decay’s Moondust palette is for every one of you who wants to send your glitter loving into overdrive with these 8 dazzlingly sparkly shades. Not only are these vibrant and full of life, they are ultra-refined and ready to make your lids pop with colour.
The best-selling palette was bought out in celebration of Fall 2016, and what more perfect than bringing a little glitz into the season? Yes, there is fall out, but what do you expect with such sparkly glitters. Although, with all 8 shadows there is absolutely no chunks as each Moondust Eyeshadow is laced with microfine bits of sparkle and 3D metallic, which gives a luxurious diamond sparkle effect. This means that when you wear this palette your makeup will be looking sophisticated with hints of glitter.
Urban Decay went to town on the formula to as I usually expect extra-glittery shadows to crease or to fall out during the day but these do not budge. I always apply a good base of the Urban Decay Primer Potion or MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre and then set that with a loose setting powder or a light matte cream amoxil shadow, and then you’re good to go. A little tip from the experts is that you can use these shadows wet or dry. For the best colour pay off and intensity then its best to use them wet, I do this by applying some MAC Fix + on my brush, or you can even use water. After doing this, blend the eyes out with a dry brush.
My favourite shades from the palette have to be Magnetic and Lithium as they are the most wearable and I’m drawn to them every time I use the palette. Magentic is a stunning deep purple shade with flecks of silver glitter, and Lithium is a dark bronze shade full with hints of both silver and gold glitters.
As well as the mesmerizing shades, the palette comes in a gorgeous gunmetal sparkly case to match what’s inside. It features a mirrored cut out “Moondust” logo, as well as a full size mirror inside so you can indulge in your glitter obsession on the go.
