Skincare Sunday may indeed be making a comeback. The past few months my blog has been a lot more focused on skincare as well as makeup, as I’ve been testing out so much more stuff and I do love a good pamper. Sunday Skincare will likely be based on skincare edits and favourites, but I’d love to know what you’d like to see more of! Lets get into it…
For cleansing balms my favourite type of formula is one that is quite thick and lotion-like, just like the Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm*. I adore this range from Rodial and this has to be one of my favourite products from it as it gives that skin-quenching feel even whilst removing your makeup. The balm formula is just the right density and applies like a lotion balm, as its not super oily but is perfect enough to remove makeup as it cleanses at the same time as getting rid of all the makeup, so it’s quite a quick fix. I find it to be quite brightening to, so it is good to use as a morning cleanser as well. The bee venom is there to plump the skin whilst almond, jojoba and wheatgerm cheap amoxil online oils soften the skin and diminish an uneven tone. This is ideal for drier skin types or those looking to brighten their complexion.
If you like the really balmy texture then the Eve Lom Cleanser would be your pick. Its texture is balmy but not oily and removes all the dirt and excess oils from your skin without stripping or drying. Once your face is cleansed with this stuff, you’ll feel more radiant and it improves the texture of your skin. The best way to use this is to massage it into the skin so that your face can decongest and then wipe away with a warm wet muslin cloth. This product is suitable for all skin types.
The Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion is best of the three for makeup removal as its extremely gentle and is more lightweight with no oily feeling. This cleanser is rich in vegetable oils and milk proteins that cleanse, tone and moisturise to remove all makeup, even eye makeup. If you’re skin is dry or dehydrated and suffers with cleansing waters this would be a great alternative as its nourishing and kind to the skin.
What’s your favourite cleansing balm?
