MAC has recently released a new range called Fruity Juicy just in time for summer. The range includes a whole array of gorgeous new bits from lipsticks to blushers and tools. Although I would’ve loved to purchase pretty much all of it because the packaging is so dreamy, I bought the famous Fix + in the coconut scent. I had the Fix + finishing spray in my collection for a long time and seeing it released in this scent with this packaging meant it had to be mine.

MAC’s Prep+Prime Fix + is probably my all time favourite setting spray. I can never finish my makeup without a setting spray, but this one in particular is so different to any I’ve used before. The spray is so lightweight and makes such a difference to the longevity of your makeup. After spritzing two to three pumps onto my face my makeup feels flawless and it just melts everything so seamlessly together.

The coconut scent is so dreamy and when you close your eyes to apply it, it smells like you’re in paradise. Its fruity formula works to gently soothe and refresh the face and I find it really generic doxycycline cooling on the skin. You can use this on bare skin as well as over makeup, but I tend to use it after finishing my makeup as a setting spray as I never want to finish this pretty bottle. I also sometimes use it to refresh my makeup throughout the day if I need it, it just instantly refreshes you and your makeup doesn’t budge at all. The formula is packed with vitamins and minerals that give an instant boost of hydration while delivering a soft sheen to finish your makeup.

Speaking of packaging, I think its quite clear why I’m head over heels for it. Exotic flowers and fruits of the tropics inspire the range, and it’s getting me so excited for a holiday. The vivid design is full of beautiful bananas, pineapples, papayas and flowers, which screams summer and I want it now!

Now I’ve got this, I want more! Who could’ve guessed that would happen? If you want to take a look at the rest of the range, you can shop it here.

What setting spray do you love?
