Stylish, simplistic and aesthetically pleasing beauty accessories are my kinda thing down to a T. I have a bit of a neatness habit (I have to admit), as I like things in order and minimalistic items are what put my mind at ease. I love the simplistic barley there look, especially with my health and beauty necessities that are on display.
My bathroom shelf is one of those areas I like to have and clear of bulky products. It’s a tad OCD but there’s nothing worse than getting at ridiculous o’clock and not being able to find your essentials when you’re still half asleep. I like to grab what I need and get on with my routine. Ya feel me?
Aside from my everyday skincare that I have on my shelf, I like to keep it minimal with just my current skin products along with my toothbrush, toothpaste and something to keep the hair out of my face.
As well as changing up my skincare routine now that the autumnal months have rolled around, my bathroom beauty shelf has been introduced to a cool new little gadget called Uber Sonic. This addition to my shelf family is a new electric toothbrush. A little sad I know, but I’m really ecstatic with the fact that I finally have an electric toothbrush in my life, as my old manual old was pretty bulky and not too pretty. It’s nice to have pretty beauty gadgets I think.
Uber Sonic is an award-winning toothbrush for being the world’s first anodised aluminium toothbrush. If you’re wondering what anodised aluminium means then don’t worry, I wasn’t quite sure what it was either. You’ll be pleased to know it may now match your phone, as it’s the same material as an iPhone, how funky ay? I actually love the feel of it, that sleek smooth metal is very satisfying. I’ve never had quite a luxurious toothbrush I must say.
I’m not one to use whitening teeth products as I’ve tried many in the past and I just don’t see much difference, so the good old fashioned ‘brush twice a day’ is my motto. Since using the Uber Sonic, I am now questioning why I’ve never invested in a different type of toothbrush before. I’ve only ever used a ‘manual’ toothbrush that’s battery powered to give a slight vibration, i.e. not much help at all. But, since I’ve had this, it’s all I’ve used. The days of the manual toothbrush are over for me now, finally. Imagine all that arm strength I’ll be saving.
I find this toothbrush is impressively lightweight, almost the same weight as a standard toothbrush and super sleek.
As normal, I use this twice daily and once I’m done, it I pop it back on its sleek aluminium stand, which makes it easy to store and also keeps my shelf super tidy, just how I like it. I’ve only charged this once and I’ve had it a long long while. I’d say it has a whole 24-hours worth of charge in it and will only need charging once a month, maybe less, which is quite a miracle for us forgetful people.
It’s actually a life saver for those of us who are forgetful as a matter of fact, as it has a ‘wake me up’ function that makes the device buzz every 30 seconds to remind you to change side, so that you don’t miss a bit. A massive plus for those sleepy mornings, of which, I have many.
Who knew how much an electric toothbrush could up my tooth care regime and make my bathroom shelf look pretty at the same time? It’s genius.
The great thing about these toothbrushes is that you can be hygiene friendly with their subscription packs, starting at £19, which gives you new toothbrush heads every two months and a new handle once a year. So, you don’t have to worry about getting a new one and waiting for it to die on you. You can cancel the subscription at any time with no cancellation fee. Starter packs and more information can be found on their website, www.ubersonic.co.uk.
