With the January blues almost behind us (at last, this month has just dragged don’t you think?!) and the dark nights finally getting a little bit later each day, hopefully the dull days and the lustreless complexion they give can go with it.

So come February I’m saying hello to better, glowier and healthier looking skin. With the month of lurve upon us, what’s better to be in love with than your skin hey? I know that January, all the comfort Christmas food and the recent dark and wet days didn’t do my skin any favours. So, I thought it was time to reunite with the Pixi Glow Tonic. Hello, best friend.

Throughout the majority of last year my skin saw much better days than what it has been lately. I have apologised to my skin on many occasions. As much as I’ve been hydrating my skin with some new favourites, it dawned upon me that my skin wasn’t as bright and fresh as it once was when this beauty turned up on my doorstep.

I think I went through a good bottle and a bit of Glow Tonic before and for some reason got out of the flow of using it when winter came around, a.k.a. when I got super lazy with my skincare. Now, its back and I’m not letting go. This time I’m even more obsessed because it’s got my name on it!

Let me tell you why its so fab, shall I? I’ll stop babbling and just cut to the chase.

If you love a quick fix skincare product then you’ll adore what the Pixi Glow range has to offer.

Their Glow Tonic is like no other on the market as it’s a gentle exfoliating toner that helps to not only cleanse and tone the skin, but tightens and firms normal to dry, dull and ageing skin.

The product is formulated with 5% Glycolic Acid, which is effective at removing dead skin cells, treating blackheads, fine lines, dullness and uneven texture. I find this is most effective at clearing up my blemishes and diminishing the appearance of dullness and blackheads. I wouldn’t say it 100% demolishes your blackheads, what product could? If you know one please help a girl out. But I would say I feel confident enough to say my blackheads and blemishes are a lot more controlled and not apparent when using this.

Pixi Glow Tonic is also enriched with Aloe Vera and Ginseng that work to nourish and soothe the skin, whilst the Glycolic Acid works its magic.

I’ve had issues with toners and other products that contain Glycolic Acid in the past, as I’ve noticed they have dried out my skin and left me feeling duller than before. But with the Glow Tonic I don’t get this issue, I finish my skincare routine feeling hydrated, soothed and cared for. I tend to use this only once a day, typically in the morning to help out my tired complexion. I use just three to four drops of the product on a large cotton pad and wipe it across a freshly washed face and I’m done. Quick and easy skincare is a bit of me I tell you.

Another absolute fave of mine is their Glow Mist and there are a number of reasons I can’t help but love it. 1) It’s a multi-tasking product – you can use it on fresh skin or over makeup to refresh your face, 2) it gives instant results – the formula is enriched with 13 natural oils to give the skin a dewy finish and 3) it’s a god send during the winter and my skin is looking nothing but dull.

Now I’m back to using the Glow Tonic my skin is feeling glowy on a day to day basis again *does a little dance*.

Have you ever used anything from the Pixi Glow range?
